Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratisthan (BKSP) has announced admissions to its four-year Bachelor of Sports Studies program (offered Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physical Education and Sports Science) for the 2025-2026 academic year. For this academic session, BKSP will admit students specializing in Cricket. Online applications will remain open till July 30.
The program is affiliated with the National University, and admitted students can study as residential or non-residential students.
According to the admission notice, applicants from all recognized education boards in Bangladesh and Bangladesh Open University, who have completed their SSC or equivalent examination in Diploma in Humanities, Business Studies, HSC (Business Management) or Commerce streams in 2022 or 2023, must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in SSC or equivalent examination and minimum GPA of 2.0 in HSC or equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025 Will happen.
Additionally, they must achieve a combined average GPA of at least 4.5 on both exams.
Applicants for Science and HSC (Vocational) stream must obtain a minimum GPA of 2.25 in SSC or equivalent examination, a minimum GPA of 2.0 in HSC or equivalent examination and a combined average GPA of at least 4.75 in both the examinations.
Applicants must also have experience of playing cricket at national, divisional, Dhaka League first or second division, or National Cricket League (NCL) level.
entrance examination program
The entrance exam will be held on 9th August at 9:00 am at BKSP, Jirani, Savar.
The assessment will consist of 30 marks for MCQ questions in Bengali, English and General Knowledge and 70 marks for assessment of sports ability. The officials will also award additional marks based on the SSC and HSC exam results of the applicants.
Required Documents
Applicants are required to upload the following documents while submitting online application: SSC & HSC Marksheet, Testimonials, Certificate of Cricket Playing Experience, NID.
On the day of the entrance test, applicants must submit: A printed copy of the online registration form, six recent passport size color photographs, photocopies of necessary certificates.
Applicants must also undergo medical examination and bring appropriate sports clothing and equipment required for cricket assessment.
BKSP will publish the entrance exam result on 20th August on its official website (https://bksp.gov.bd). The final admission will take place on September 3 and classes will start from September 6.

The application fee is Taka 1,000.
Applicants must complete the online application by selecting the Applicant Registration option and selecting “Admission Information for First Year Undergraduate (Hons) Programme”.
Then they have to complete the application form, submit it, make payment, download the PDF version and print the filled application.
