“We want to see accountability. And it’s important that the investigation does its job and comes to that conclusion,” Blinken told reporters in New York.
Blinken said, “We hope that our Indian friends will also cooperate in that investigation.”
Without commenting directly on the substance of the allegations, Blinken said the United States took incidents of “international repression” “very, very seriously.”
