BNP blockade intensifies to disrupt elections: MEA alleges vandalism and arson

A vivid example of their violence occurred on 13 December. BNP-Jamaat activists deliberately removed 20 feet of railway track.. As a result, the Dhaka-bound Mohanganj Express derailed at around 4:00 am. One person died and 50 others were injured in this incident.

The incident is a result of a 36-hour blockade imposed by the BNP.
On December 19, miscreants set fire to three coaches of the Mohanganj Express train at Tejgaon in the city, killing four people, including a mother and her son.
