A letter has been sent to diplomats of various countries, including the United States, informing them that the police attack at Naya Paltan on October 28 disrupted the grand rally of the BNP.
The letter also highlights the incident in which a member of BNP’s youth wing Jubo Dal was killed and several party leaders were injured during a police attack.
In the letter to diplomats, the BNP alleged that individuals associated with the ruling Awami League instigated the attack on their grand rally with the support of the police.
Subsequently, after this incident, law enforcement officials arrested BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
