He kept saying that the government will change in this country through elections through a democratic and constitutional process. He said, “The power in Bangladesh will change only by the vote of the people.”
He said that people no longer want to trust BNP which is the promoter of undemocratic politics in the country.
He said that Mirza Fakhrul Islam claimed that Khaleda Zia is under house arrest and that BNP working president Tariq Rehman has been sent into exile.
“The Awami League government did not put Khaleda Zia under house arrest and did not send Tariq into exile,” he said, adding that the caretaker government, for which the BNP shouts, filed a case against him in One-Eleven and in that case he are accused.
Khaleda Zia is serving the sentence after being convicted by the court’s verdict, he said, adding that on the other hand, Tariq, a fugitive accused of corruption, fled abroad on bond saying he would not take part in politics.
