BNP imposes 48-hour strike on polling day of 12th parliamentary elections

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has imposed a strike on Sunday, the day of voting for the 12th parliamentary elections.

According to the latest programmes, the party will observe a 48-hour strike from 6 am on Saturday (January 6) to 6 am on Monday (January 8).

Voting for the national election will take place on Sunday (January 7).

BNP made the announcement in a press release on Thursday. Apart from this, the party will organize a procession and public contact on Friday.
