Earlier, on Wednesday, BNP said that a media conference will be held at the party headquarters in Naya Paltan at 3:00 pm on Thursday.
Party standing committee members Abdul Moin Khan and Selima Rehman are likely to address the conference.
Its headquarters has been under lockdown since a mass rally of the main opposition was foiled after party workers clashed with police on October 28 last year. However, it is not clear who locked the office.
