He said the BNP was ready to propose such names if the police wanted to know.
“If they (police) can offer us any place other than Suhrawardy (garden) and Turag (river bank) within Dhaka city which we find safe, we will consider that. If they cannot find it and ask us, we will tell them where we want to organize the rally,” said the central leader.
When asked whether the BNP has a chosen position, Mirza Abbas said, “We will say whether we have a chosen position when you (the police) propose a name to us.”
He also said that he could not talk about the list of names of places selected for holding the rally.
