BNP general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the program at a press conference held on Thursday morning at the party’s central office in Naya Paltan in the capital city.
The program of March will be of four days. On Saturday, January 28, the march will start from in front of Suvastu Nazar Valley Tower in Badda and will go to Abul Hotel in Malibag. On January 30, the route will be from Jatrabari to Shyampur. On January 31, it will reach Mirpur 10 Gol Chakkar via Mazar Road from Gabtali Bus Terminal. The march will start from Mugda on February 1 and end at Malibagh. The march will start every day at 2 pm. The Dhaka North and South units of BNP will organize two marches each in their respective areas.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam said, “We hope that the event will pass off peacefully and the spontaneous participation of the people will further strengthen the demand for revival of democracy.”
