Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold several rallies and five road marches this month as the party plans to end the final movement in October.
Sources said the BNP leadership considers September as the final phase of the mass campaign before the party’s final agitation to topple the government.
Under this, the party will hold a rally in Dhaka on Friday and youth road marches in different parts of the country from Saturday.
BNP sources said that they want to connect the youth with the anti-government movement. Along with the final phase of the movement, BNP leaders are also looking at the role of the judiciary.
BNP leaders feel that the government is using the judiciary as a weapon to suppress the voice of the opposition. Before the elections, the courts are sentencing hundreds of leaders-workers of BNP and other opposition parties.
