In line with the instructions of Energy and Mineral Resources Division and BPC, marketing companies will keep their main establishments open and continue regular fuel delivery.
The statement said that fuel is being imported regularly from abroad as per the plan. Imported fuel is transported by rail wagons and tankers from main installations to depots across the country, from where it is supplied to filling stations and other outlets.
Public concern over fuel supplies emerged after the recent conflict broke out in the Middle East. As a result, filling stations in various parts of the country have seen increased congestion, and fuel sales have increased significantly at many places compared to normal times.
