The Home Minister said that Aarav Khan, the owner of Dubai-based Aarav Jewellers, is living in Dubai and Interpol had earlier issued a red alert against him.
A Dhaka court on Tuesday sentenced Aarav Khan to 10 years’ rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Taka 10,000, or in default of three months in jail, in an arms case.
Responding to a question, the Home Minister said, “Police will arrest those against whom there is a warrant.” It is a part of the routine activities of the police.
