BRTA denies TIB's allegations of taking bribe from bus owners, calls report motivated

The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) has rejected a report by Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) about taking bribes from owners of buses and minibuses.

Transport regulatory body BRTA also termed TIB's report inspired.

Addressing a press conference at the BRTA headquarters in Banani in the city, its chairman Noor Mohammad Majumdar said the TIB report was untrue, motivated and based on assumption.
