In Abdullahpur of the capital, miscreants set fire to a BRTC double-decker bus at around 7 pm on Saturday evening.
Rozina Akhtar, an official at the fire service headquarters, confirmed this to Prothom Alo.
North East police station inspector (investigation) Rakibu Haq said miscreants set fire to a double-decker BRTC bus in Abdullahpur. The bus driver and others extinguished the fire. Three seats of the bus were burnt to ashes.
The police officer said they are trying to trace those who set the bus on fire. He said that the CCTV footage collected near the incident is being examined and analyzed.
