Teesta Battalion (61 BGB) Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Syed Fazle Munim confirmed the matter. He said that the recovered drone is currently in the custody of BGB and legal processes related to the case are underway.
He further said that 98 Himalayan Camp of BSF has contacted BGB stating that one of their drones fell inside Bangladesh due to mechanical failure and requested to return it. Information about the matter has been given to higher officials, further steps will be taken as per their instructions.
