Demanding immediate withdrawal of the case, the forum said that the way former leader of Chattogram city unit Jubo League Helal Akbar Chowdhary Babar has filed a case against Dainik Jagantor’s special correspondent Lavalu, it is an attack on journalism.
The Jubo League is the youth wing of the ruling Awami League.
The case was filed on Wednesday in the court of Chattogram Divisional Cyber Tribunal Judge Mohammad Zahirul Kabir.
Taking cognizance of the matter, the court had ordered the Counter Terrorism Unit to investigate it.
