Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) students, who have been protesting against the mob lynching of BCL workers and leaders on the campus, have not gathered at the Shaheed Minar on the BUET campus today, Sunday.

However, as per their announcement, they are boycotting all academic activities including the term final examinations to be held today.

When I went to the spot around 8 in the morning, I saw that students were not present. Security guards of educational buildings said that students have not come to take the examination.

Although political activities have been banned on the BUET campus following the murder of Abrar Fahad, outside leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) entered the BUET campus on Wednesday night and conducted political activities. BCL is the student front of the ruling Awami League.
