India pacer Jasprit Bumrah continued to impress in his first international series in 11 months as he produced another stellar performance against Ireland in the second Twenty20 International, helping his team win the series with one match to spare.
Bumrah missed last year’s ICC T20 World Cup and the World Test Championship final in June due to a back injury, but is set to lead India’s pace attack in the domestic 50-over World Cup in October-November.
Captaining a second-rate Indian team, the wily right-arm seamer took 2-24 in the opening match on Friday and followed it up with 15-2 on Sunday when he hit a single four in his four overs. Did not apply
