Aldrin achieved worldwide fame and a place in history by stepping on the Moon on July 20, 1969, 20 minutes after his fellow astronaut, Neil Armstrong, as part of NASA’s Apollo 11 mission.
Faure, who holds a doctorate degree in chemical engineering, has served as the executive vice president of Buzz Aldrin Ventures for the past four years, according to her LinkedIn page.
“We were engaged in holy matrimony in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles and are as excited as runaway teenagers,” Aldrin said on Twitter.
