The leaders of Qatar and Kuwait received invitations on Monday to a summit in Cairo on Saturday to discuss “the Palestinian issue and the development and future of the peace process.”
State media from both countries announced the invitation a day after Cairo announced its intention to host “a regional and international summit on the future of the Palestinian issue” during a visit by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
