CARE Bangladesh organizes ‘Humanitarian Fair’ in Cox’s Bazar

The panel discussion session included a series of discussions by eminent speakers from various professional backgrounds and focused on the emerging needs of the Rohingya population, related challenges and strategies for the future. The discussion mainly focused on the role of aid agencies to deal with the cash crunch, food security, self-reliance, skill development, social cohesion and better coordination between Rohingya and host communities for the future.

CARE Bangladesh has been a leading organization in the response to the Rohingya crisis since it began, working across health, food security and nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), gender inclusion, climate and resilience, and livelihoods programs Is. Support from 17 partners in host communities and camp areas in the Cox’s Bazar District.

A stall exhibition was arranged to showcase field interventions using scale models and other visualization materials. CARE is also conducting several evaluation and feasibility studies to address the emerging needs of the Rohingya population and host communities for better social cohesion while meeting their needs for essential services, self-reliance, skill development and security.
