Ali Akbar, Deputy Taxation Officer, Revenue Circle-2, CCC, Bahadurhat office, was punished for taking bribe from the caretaker of a residential building to settle the holding tax of the building and change the name of its owner.
According to the statement of the case, the caretaker of a building Mohd Jamal Uddin was caught red-handed by ACC officials while accepting a bribe of Tk 20,000 to settle the issue of holding tax in CCC and change the name of the owner of the building.
