According to the fire service and civil defence, they managed to control the fire around 9:00 pm.
It was not immediately known what caused the fire there.
UCB branch manager (operations) Moin Uddin Chowdhury told Prothom Alo that the fire incident occurred around 7 pm when the branch was closed.
