Eight mega projects such as the Padma Bridge Railway Link Project in Bangladesh will be completed and put to use.
Sharing the results of the high-level visits in 2016 and 2019, the ambassador said that construction of the Rajshahi Surface Water Treatment Plant project would also begin and cooperation under the BRI would deepen.
Talking about the future of relations, Ambassador Yao said that Bangladesh and China should continue to firmly support each other in following a development path that best suits our respective national conditions.
The modernization of both China and Bangladesh involved a large population.

The envoy said that China respects Bangladesh’s choice of its own development path, and is willing to strengthen strategic communication and mutual learning with Bangladesh on this basis.
“China and Bangladesh should continue to support each other on issues of core interests and unanimously say “no” to outside interference,” he said.
Yao said that Bangladesh and China should make relations between developing countries a model of friendship, thus making their contribution to building a human community with a shared future.
“We need to deepen friendship, mutual trust and convergence of interests, establish a model of good neighbors and friends, and safeguard the common interests of developing countries,” he said.
