The State Council, a working group under China’s cabinet, issued a notice late on Friday, urging local governments to ensure smooth transportation and logistics to maintain normal living and working order.
“No effort should be spared to ensure the smooth delivery of medical supplies, including vaccinations, antigen testing reagents, medicines and masks,” said the notice published by China’s Ministry of Transport.
The notice prohibited unauthorized blocking or closing of highways, waterways, ports, railway stations and airports to comply with the easing of restrictions by China.
China’s State Administration for Market Regulation warned against raising the prices of anti-Covid products, citing the need to better protect human life and health.
