Citibank recently signed an agreement with Haji Mohammed Danesh University of Science and Technology (HSTU).
Under this agreement the bank will provide a major fund to its Plant and Animal Disease Diagnostic Unit to HSTU as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). With this support from Citibank, the University’s research facilities will be strengthened through the purchase of new equipment for plant and animal disease diagnosis at the University’s Central Laboratory.
HSTU researchers will now be able to conduct advanced research to solve problems in the field of agriculture, which will lead to agricultural innovation.
