A court on Monday remanded Jagannath University student Rehan Siddiqui Amman and assistant proctor Deen Islam for two days and one day respectively in the suicide case of law student Fairuz Sadaf Abantika.
Senior Judicial Magistrate of Kamila Court Abu Bakar Siddiqui passed the order.
Deen Islam, who was arrested in the case of abetment of suicide, is from Aminnagar village under Ramchandrapur North union in Muradnagar upazila of Cumilla.
He was an assistant professor in the Department of Management of JNU and an assistant proctor of the university.
