CNG stations will remain closed for 6 hours during Ramadan

The government has directed that all CNG filling stations across the country will remain closed for six hours daily during the holy month of Ramzan to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to power plants where demand increases during this period.

This information was given in a notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division today, Friday.

Under the new decision, from the first day of Ramzan till March 14, all CNG filling stations across the country will remain closed from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm every day, for a total of six hours. The notification states that the measure is aimed at addressing the problems of low gas pressure.
