In a preliminary hearing on a writ regarding this torture on Thursday, a High Court bench of Justice JBM Hassan and Justice Razik Al-Jalil issued a judgment with directions.
The court’s directions also asked for setting up of a three-member inquiry committee to look into the incident and measures for Sanjeeda and Tabassum not to be in the premises during the investigation.
The court further said that both the BCL leaders may be summoned in the interest of the investigation. The court also ordered that the safety of the victim be ensured.
After this, BCL leader Sanjeeda and her colleague Tabassum Islam left the campus on Thursday evening. He came to the campus on Monday on the call of the inquiry committee.
