His friend Pavail Ahmed accompanied him to the spot, while the other three preferred to stay in the parked bus. Both came out to assess the situation and search for food. However, the search for food was not successful as some shops were open but there was no food to sell.
Revealing his ordeal, Pavail Ahmed, a resident of Khilgaon, Dhaka said, “We are stuck here since 5:00 am. It is uncertain when the road will reopen as it is inundated at places.”
