The entry fee to the concert is a blanket and those who fail to buy one can purchase a kombol pass on the day of the event for TK 250, which will cover the price of a good quality kombol and its distribution cost. A Facebook page discloses the detail on the event
Project Kombol is a winter clothing distribution platform which distributes blankets to the remote parts of Bangladesh with the help of local NGOs.
This initiative is taken by two civil society organizations, BANDHU Foundation and Garbo Bangladesh Foundation, to improve winter clothing distribution in Bangladesh.
Every winter, Bangladesh is hit with severe cold waves especially in the Northern areas. In response to this crisis, many non-government and youth organizations carry out winter clothing drives, but due to a lack of sufficient preparation time, a majority of them distribute their clothes inside Dhaka city where the need is not as great.
