Conway, whose century saw him complete 1,000 Test runs, told reporters, “It’s been a good ride so far, I’ve only played a few Test matches, so it’s good to get the opportunity to play and contribute for the team. “

Pakistan were finally able to stem New Zealand’s flow in the evening as they took five wickets in the final session, with Agha Salman claiming scalps of Conway, Henry Nicholls and Daryl Mitchell.
“When I get a chance to bowl, I try to contribute as much as possible,” Salman told reporters.
“I think as the Test goes on, the wicket will start to turn, because I think it’s going to have more bite than the first Test.”
Tom Blundell was unbeaten on 30 along with Ish Sodhi.
The two-match series is tied 0–0 after the opening game, which was also played in Karachi, ended in a draw.
