The Very Severe Cyclonic Storm MOCHA over East Central Bay & neighborhood moved north-eastwards over the same region and lay about 930 km south-southwest of Chattogram Port, 860 km south-southwest of Cox’s Bazar Port at 6 PM today , centered on 890 km. 855 kms south-southwest of Mongla Port and south-west of Payra Port.
The sea ports of Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram and Payra have been advised to lower local warning signal number 4 and hoist major danger signal number 8 instead.
Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Feni, Noakhali, Laxmipur, Chandpur, Barishal, Bhola, Patuakhali, Jhalokathi, Pirojpur, Borguna and their offshore islands and the coastal districts of Char will come under danger signal number 8.
