Officials of the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation have seized seven gold bars and jewelery from a passenger returning from Dubai at Shah Amanat International Airport.
The incident happened on Thursday morning.
A passenger named Mohammad Shahidul Islam has been detained in connection with the incident. He is a resident of Chakaria of Cox’s Bazar.
