The Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong has been closed from 12 noon to 8 pm on Sunday due to cyclone Ramal in the Bay of Bengal.
An airport official confirmed this to Prothom Alo.
The weather department on Sunday asked Payra and Mongla ports to hoist danger signal number 10 as cyclonic storm Ramal headed towards the Bangladesh coast.
