David Warner has retired from ODI cricket before his Test farewell.

“It was something I said during the World Cup, to get through it and win it in India, I think it’s a big achievement.

“So I will decide today to retire from those formats, which allows me to go and play in some other (T20) leagues around the world and help the one-day team grow a bit.

“I know the Champions Trophy is coming. If I’m playing good cricket in two years and I’m around and they need someone, I’ll be available,” he said.
