DBH Finance Plc (DBH), the country’s largest housing finance institution, recently held its first Shariah Supervisory Committee (SSC) meeting. According to a press release, the meeting was held at its headquarters in Gulshan, Dhaka.
The meeting was presided over by Dr. Muhammad Saifullah, Mufti and Islamic Shari’a law expert, Chairman of the DBH Shari’a Supervisory Committee. Apart from this, Mohd. Other members of the committee including Abdul Awal Sarkar, Ex. Executive Director, Bangladesh Bank, Dr. Zubair Mohd. Ehsanul Haque, CSAA, Professor, Department of Arabic, DU, Naseemul Baatein, Managing Director & CEO, DBH Finance Plc, Tanveer Ahmed, DMD & Head of Islamic Financing Division (current charge) and the meeting MD Abu Yusuf, CSAA, Member Secretary, DBH SSC was present.
