Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Wednesday said that the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) concerned have been asked to be vigilant so that no one manipulates the prices of essential commodities during the holy month of Ramzan.
The minister said this while talking to reporters after a meeting with the deputy commissioners at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the city.
“I have asked them to take strict measures so that no one can manipulate the price of essential commodities during Ramzan,” he said. He said that the Deputy Commissioners have also been asked to be aware of the rights of the consumers.
