Death of Environment Department Director and his wife

Nazmul Ahsan, a director of the environment department, and his wife Nahid binte Alam have died in Dhaka.

The reasons for his death could not be known.

Police said Nazmul was taken to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital on Wednesday afternoon, but doctors found him dead.

The next morning, his wife died during treatment at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
