A devastating fire broke out in a jute mill in Khulna's Rupsha upazila and 11 units of the fire service are working to extinguish the fire.
This incident happened at 5:31 pm on Wednesday at Salam Jute Mill adjacent to Jabusa Chowrasta, Naihati Union No. 3.
Khulna Fire Service Director MD Farooq Hussain Sikdar said a total of 11 units from different fire service centers including Khulna Sadar, Khalispur and Daulatpur are working to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire and the damage caused could not be immediately known.
