According to DMTCL, the Dhaka Metro Rail may start operations up to Motijheel by the end of 2024 and up to Kamlapur by 2025. By December 2024, metro rail operations will start from Agargaon to Kamlapur with 24 trains.
Earlier on December 28 last year, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had inaugurated the country’s first elevated metro rail setting a milestone in the history of communication.
