Earlier, British High Commissioner Sarah Cook met the Home Minister.
After the meeting the Home Minister spoke to journalists. During this, the Minister answered various questions of journalists on the current political situation as well as the issues discussed in the meeting.
When asked whether the government would take any initiative for talks or not, Asaduzzaman Khan said, “Whoever comes to us, we will talk to him.” However, they have to come without any conditions. We should talk only as per the Constitution of the country. If anyone asks for anything outside the Constitution, it will not be accepted.
