Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Rokeya Sultana urged physicians to achieve professional excellence as medical science is continuously progressing.
“Physicians should be involved in research work to increase their professional efficiency,” he said.
Professor Mohammad Badrul Alam, President of Neurologist Society of Bangladesh, presided over the conference where Secretary of Health Services Division Mohammad Jahangir Alam was the special guest.
Besides, Swadhinath Medical Council Chairman Professor Jamaluddin Choudhary, Director General of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Professor Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam and Director General of Health Directorate Professor Tito Mian, among others, were present at the conference.
