Residential students of Bijoy Ektor Hall in Dhaka University (DU) lodged a protest against the throwing of spoiled food served by the hall administration on the road used by residential teachers to commute to their quarters.
Officials distributed Morog Polao, a biryani-like dish cooked with chicken, among the students to mark an event of the Bejoy Ektor Hall Trust Fund. But on opening the plastic box, the students felt a foul smell.
