Earthquake in Myanmar shook Dhaka and many parts of the country, intensity 5.0 on Richter scale

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said the earthquake struck at 2:44:49 pm (Bangladesh time). The epicenter was 441 south-southeast of Dhaka.

Earlier on Wednesday, another earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale had struck the same region. That earthquake was also felt in a large area of ​​Bangladesh, including Dhaka and Chittagong.
