At least 10 people have been killed in Turkey after earthquakes rocked the country’s south and northern Syria, two local Turkish officials said.
The German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said the quake occurred near the southern Turkish city of Kahramanmaras at a depth of 10 km (6 mi), while the EMSC monitoring service said a tsunami risk was being assessed.
