While discussing the passing of the bill, Jamaat-e-Islami MP Shafiqul Islam said, “While we are discussing the university, our dear students have broken the barricades and are sitting in front of our Parliament.”
He demanded to fulfill the demands of the students or solve their problems by talking to them.
At that time, Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haq Milan had said, “We have done a lot of review on this matter. Yesterday was the exam of Physics, Accounting and Logic. It was raining during the exam, many people got wet and there have been complaints that many people were not able to give the exam properly. Although we are constantly monitoring the situation, but demands are coming from the students regarding this exam.”
