Noting that the EU is a reliable and long-term partner of Bangladesh, he said, “We are committed to continuing to work with Bangladesh on sustainable development, climate change, migration and all other issues of common interest.”
“Negotiations on a partnership and cooperation agreement will begin soon with the intention of broadening and modernizing our cooperation,” Michel said. “This agreement will create a solid framework for our relations in the years to come,” he said.
