Electricity bill should be double for ac users

Few years ago Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has issued an order asking officials of secretariat not to wear pants in summer. She thinks those who wear pants they use air conditioners more. She ordered them to wear trousers. It’s a good idea in fact, many officials like wearing suits. But weather of Bangladesh does not support it.
We also feel it, because in summer when there is temperature drop due to shower, load shedding decreases.

Now Institute of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) is proposing to double the bill of electricity for air conditioners.

The national congress and council is due to be held from 25th to 26th January.  General Secretary of IDEB Shamsur Rahman proposed this while briefing to the media about the upcoming event. Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate the council on 26th January. Leader of the opposition will also attend on the final day of the council.
