A high-level delegation from the European Union visited the factory of Apex Footwear Limited at Shafipur, Ghazipur to observe how global best practices are maintained in the footwear and leather industry of Bangladesh.
The delegation, led by EU Ambassador Michael Miller, viewed the facility as part of a broader EU effort to advance industry-wide sustainability, a press release said.
Members of the delegation included German Ambassador Rüdiger Lotz and Italian Ambassador Antonio Alessandro.
